About BTK-15P

What makes our buffer tube kit better than others?
The buffer tube itself is 7075-T6 impact extruded. This cold forging process results in a significant increase in strength vs. other manufacturing methods for buffer tubes. All the edges are machine deburred unlike many other buffer tubes with sharp “hot spots” that can catch, scratch, or cut, while manipulating the rifle. This is particularly important with our CRG-15 rifle grip. After machining they are bead blasted and hard coat anodized. The 2.9 oz standard weight buffer is ideal for mid-length gas systems and a 16" barrel chambered in 5.56/.223, but can be used with many rifle configurations. We have also included a custom ergonomic end plate which also works great with our CRG-15 rifle grip. The soft edges on the ergonomic endplate and the buffer tube, definitely make handling the rifle equipped with the sparrow grip, much more comfortable that with the standard buffer tube and end plate.

Probably the only difficult part of the process during installation was staking the castle nut, but its worth it, if you are planning to use the grip in the long term.
